2023 Portage SWCD Board of Supervisors Election
The Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Commission will cause an election of Supervisors of the Portage Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) to be held in accordance with Chapter 940 of the Ohio Revised Code. Individuals who own or occupy land within the Portage Soil and Water Conservation District and are 18 years of age or older may vote for Supervisor.
There are three ways an eligible voter can cast a ballot:
1.) At the SWCD Annual Meeting, on September 14th, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Portage SWCD Meeting Room Located at 6970 OH-88, Ravenna, OH 44266.

2.) Voting absentee from Monday, August 16th,2023 through September 14th, 2023 by requesting the ballot application and election ballot from the Portage SWCD Office, 6970 State Route 88, Ravenna, OH 44266, or by calling (330)235-6815 or e-mail [email protected]. Absentee ballots must be received by the Portage SWCD office by 3:00 PM on September 14th, 2023.

3.) At the Portage SWCD office, 6970 OH-88 Ravenna, OH 44266, from 8/16/2023 until 9/14/2023 during normal business hours
Two supervisors will be elected to a three‐year term commencing January 1, 2024, and ending on December 31, 2026.
