The term ‘Triple Threat’ has a popular, yet non-literal meaning while it could also be used literally . When used in the popular, non-literal sense, ‘Triple Threat’ is typically defined as someone who is proficient in three skills in their field – for instance in theater it could be someone that can sing, dance and act or in football, someone that can run, pass and punt. Well, Mother Nature has a few of her own ‘Triple Threats’ and they are often referred to as Keystone Species and are the plants that provide the most environmental function in an ecosystem.
