Italian Plums are our featured fruit tree. Italian plums are egg-shaped and smaller than the round plums typically found in produce departments. Italian plums have a dark-blue skin and yellow, tight-grained flesh surrounding a free-stone pit, Italian plums are the preferred plum for tarts, cobblers, crisps and jams.   The plum varieties we are offering are a packet that includes (1) Bluebyrd & (1) Stanley . Both varieties are well-suited to the home garden and provide cross pollination for improved fruit yield.  Plant in full sun sites and keep them well-mulched to retain soil moisture and reduce weed competition.
