Canaan Fir - Abies balsamea phanerolepi - Medium-sized tree reaching 40-55 ft in height and 20-25 ft in width. Foliage color is lustrous dark green to bluish green. Needles are generally 3/4-1 1/2 inch long. Recommended for use as a wind-break. Traditional evergreen shape with a fabulous fir smell. Firs prefer well-drained, slightly acidic soil.
